Sustained viability of the Old Ship Inn continues to be threatened by development.
New plans would remove the Beer Garden and Kitchen. This is just step 1 of the withdrawn proposal which planned to fully redevelop the pub. We do not believe the current proposal indicates genuine interest in the prolonged future of the Old Ship Inn and that the current plans jeopardise the submitted application for Asset of Community Value.
To help the 'Save Our Ship' cause, please submit your objection here by this Thursday November 21st. For help in compiling your objection, please see our 'Objection

If you want to say just one thing, how about "This proposal removes parts of a valued community asset. It threatens the sustainability of the Old Ship Inn, and therefore it is not in the community's interest.".
